Cbank: Russians’ inflationary expectations fall to 0.1 pp in May
MOSCOW, Jun 5 (PRIME) -- Russians’ inflationary expectations for the next 12 months fell by 0.1 percentage point on the month to 9.3% in May as the influence of an increase of value added tax at the start of the year subsided, the central bank said in a research note on Wednesday.
Short-term inflationary expectations remain elevated, the long-term expectations have approached 4%, the authority said.
